This article serves as a guide to help you through the missions of  Call of Duty Black Ops campaign. Not any mods or cheats. All resources are from X-360 magazine. I (the author of this article) am going to be posting these IN ORDER and only post one level per week(so be sure to check back regularly). I have tried these steps and they do in fact work.

MISSION 1: OPERATION 40

When you take control after the opening, scene-setting cut-scene, move to the windows of the bar and start picking off the enemies cowering outside. USE THE DOUBLE TAP AIM MODE IT’LL HELP YOU THROUGH VETERAN MODE. Things quickly toughen up as you head out onto the streets. A fleet of cop cars will arrive on the scene, so take cover and take out the cops before you move on (usually easier with the grenade launcher.) There will be a wall of cops and cars straight in front of you. There is an ally on the left, take it and get in the car.

After that, the scene will change to a jungle compound. Use the zip-line to get down to the main building and then melee kill the gaurd. Head up the steps and enter the building, but stay low as bullets will start to fly in from all angles. INTEL 1: As soon as you enter the building, take down the two enemies and then look straight ahead for the first piece of intel. It should be just behind the missle launcher. Continue down the path leading up to the gate and head up the steps into the next building. This place is crawling with enemies so stay covered. Clear out the L-SHAPED passage and breach the door to the master bedroom. There will be Castro and a lady held hostage. Shoot Castro in the head (for death to dictators achievement) and watch the lady, she’ll try to shoot you. kill her and then move on.

Move out through the side doors and start clearing out the walkway. (again stay alert) INTEL 2: When you see Bowman from one of the upper side rooms, go inside and look for the intel on the table to the left. Start picking off enemies, including the ones in the gaurd towers (the fling rockets at you.) When your given the all-clear, go through the gate to the left and make your way through the sugar fields. After repelling down, enter the hangar. INTEL 3: After entering the hangar you will see some steps leading up to a platform on the left hand side. Go up these steps and grab the intel at the top. When exiting the hangar, stay low and head over to the rocks next to Gonzales. Make a break for the plane in the hangar opposite and use the gun to protect it. You don’t have to worry about it over-heating or running out of ammo so keep your finger on the trigger.  Concentrate most your fire on the flammable barrels and tank trucks. Before too long you will jump out of the plane and run to the cannon. Use this to shoot trucks off the runway and wait for the cut-scene to kick in.
