Fellow CoD lovers,
I wish to debate a very common subject within the CoD online play.
My question to you all is, is camping really a crime?
For those of you who are unsure on unfimiliar with the term 'camping', it is when a player stays in one place for a long or short duration of time, waits for his or her enemies to appear into sight, and then kill them, instead of seeking them out.
I have not yet reached an answer myself, but have simply been over and over the subject with myself and other that perhaps it isnt such a bad method of play. When CoD first started to become an online franchise, camping was born, as it was in many online games, however is really do believe that the game is whatever you make it and surely if you buy the game for your own pleasure then does'nt that mean that you should be able to play the game however you please?
Some of you may answer no, some of you may answer yes, but i really do believe that camping is simply another technique developed by people who find it easier to get the kills, as is quick sniping for example.
It really used to annoy me when online players camped, I myself am not a camper, I prefer the privilage of running around and taking full advantage of my perks, and killing my enemies in my own style, as im sure alot of others do, but a while back I realised that maybe camping is not as bad as we think, maybe some people don't enjoy the game as a runner, maybe some people prefer to hide and seek thier way through maps, sure it is frustrating, but if it was'nt for them then I think I'am right in saying that we would lose alot of online players.
I Shall leave this matter in your very capable hands!
