Camping is annoying but there are times when it is needed I think.
I don't camp, but I will sit in a spot for 5 seconds if I know someone is about to come round the corner and I'll wait for them

Its fine as long as its not in a corner or if you do it at kill confirmed if you do it to defend a flag in dom/ctf or to get kills on tdm/ffa is fine so its ok in some circumstances but not others.

Camping is frowned upon in games like TDM/Kill Confirmed. This being, you are sitting(camping) wherever it may be and shows a lack of skill. It shows your gun skills are poor and you can't win a gun battle. Like a sucker punch you see? You have to hit first and by surprise, so you have the upper hand. I don't get mad when I see campers, I may get frustrated for meh 2 seconds? But I realize if it came down to him and I running into eachother at any point where he isn't sitting in a corner, I'll have him viewing the killcam before he can aim down site Needless to say, camping isn't a "crime" it just let's everyone know you're a terrible player, and the skill incorporated is minimal. +1

If you sit in the same corner the entire game your just a garbage player. Now if you pick your spots move around and be strategic I got no problem with that. There is no harm for instance if you have a UAV on and see a guy coming right towards you to stop wait pick him off and move on.

hey there .. well as a camper hehe Im gonna say NO ... Now I prefer the term defender as I play domination quiet alot...
No I dont sit there on the first flag we get ... I ususally sit on the 2nd one ... as I am actaully trying to kill people ...
But I use a apparently light machine gun which weights a tonn and makes one run like a slug..

If you have issues with a camping sniper ... they get me too!! Run a different way! FInd them and stab them in the back!
I cant snipe to save my soul ... but yer those that hide way up especially if its "graphically interesting" shite me to tears at times...

I have issues with SQUATTERS .. a squatter is a person who literally hides at the spawn all game doing nothing ... like the kid brother is levelling up his big brothers account ... atleast I try to actaully help my team...
I had one guy on my team the other day died 13 times killed no one ... was spinning in a corner of the map ... seriously?! wtf?

as I am still new to this game ... I find running around just makes me die more often ....

I have also found that as a camping type I run across the other teams camping types .. like we're both trying to move to the same best spots .. I tend to run into the other teams assassins often hehehe its like our own little war within the war... much like snipers have ... *chuckles*

As for kill confirmed well .. Im sorry but the dude who is level prestige new skull symbol 3 can go run n get em

I agree with the comment above me. Personally I wouldn't care if people camped on FFA that's their choice. but if im playing a match that has an objective like domination or capture the flag i wouldn't want to lose the game because a camper decided to help himself and not the team. The only exception to this rule is if you are a sniper. Yes its cool to quickscop and trickshot people but snipers are meant to be camping long range weapons. Other then that I definitely dislike campers.
