Omg, popped in my broken MW2 game and it WORKED! omg I'm so happy! Played every game mode twice (except for Sabotage) and didn't find any hackers, really I dont know WTF you are all talking about but hackers in MW2 I found non.

In SnD also no hackers! All they were are quick scopers and noobtubers but had so much F'n fun then in MW3.

Weird. I popped mine in and it won't work! I think my disc was sabotaged by my wife or my 3 little kids. Not sure who but its got a nasty scratch that I don't think is repairable in any way. sigh

If PS3 MW2 wasn't so riddled with hackers and cheaters I would seriously consider buying a $20 brand new replacement disc. I was at game stop yesterday and saw a huge pile of brand new PS3 MW2 discs all for sale $20. I was half tempted to purchase a copy to replace my recently scratched copy. Until I thought about how hacked the game is. I thought maybe the most recent update on the PSN would help get rid of a lot of the cheaters but it didn't. I assume MW2 is a lost cause. IW or PSN aren't doing anything about it either. Sad too because imo MW2 is way better then MW3 or Black ops.

If I knew they added a patch or had intentions on weeding out the hackers. I would buy a replacement disc right this second.

Well I would still buy one it is only $20.00 and you do love the game. When it comes to the hacking I realy wouldn't worry about it to much I would say you hack to but you would probably be the one who gets banned. I would go with the next best thing IMO and stay with black ops b/c it really don't have that many hackers,etc. You could always go back to MW2 though if you did buy it just to remember the the good ol' days of playing, just try to get lobbies that aren't hacked. I have been able to but it is hard to do.

Modern Warfare 2 has wayyyy too many hackers these days, it's ridiculous and not even worth wasting the time to play it, it was definitely a good game while it lasted.
