I have been playing COD since day one and I admit this is the worst online play i have ever experienced.... I was furious this morning when I read this article on http://venturebeat.com "Since Tuesday’s launch, Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer has been working great. In fact, the amount of players online is even higher than what it was this time last year for Black Ops. Have fun — we hope you continue to enjoy MW3 to the fullest." This quote from the article completely made me irate!!!!!!!!! There are so many problems online where should we begin... Lets see for starters the online settings are set to default in your parties for local search and your party is closed to invite only.. Then lets talk about spawn spots, how do you spawn someone directly behind someone or next to or even two feet ahead of them....... The games are lagging so bad, rooms timeout all the time in the middle of the game.. And yes trust me its not my connection because my bandwidths are higher than my PS3 could ever exceed.... So when i woke today to see an update was done and none of these issues have been addressed i was kind of upset to say the least... Lets be real some people payed alot of money to play this game online, and for the company to inform the public that this game is working properly simply because more people are playing than last year.... As a consumer I truly feel as though COD is laughing all the way to the bank and saying "look at these suckers we put out a bootleg version of MW1 and it doesn't even work right and there is nothing they can do about it, hahahahahahaha.. NOT COOL....... Please address these issues ASAP...........................

You need to calm down, I understand they should address these issues. But they don't ruin the game...I haven't had that much happen to me that I can be mad about it. And they aren't just going to the bank they are paying their employees, trying to get out of debt, and investing in the next game.

I'm enjoying the game really much, however there are some points that could be improved.
- I really like the gameplay, its pretty balanced and the new kill/points streaks are fun to use. Especialy when you're totally new to COD or fps-games. New people will have problems with staying alive and killing others so I think the point streaks are a big big improvement.
- As for the maps, most of them are fun to play. But sometimes I start scratching the back of my head because I'm getting shot from 5 different sides. Happens alot in maps like Seatown, there are too many alleys and you cant pay attention to all of them. But maps like Fallen and Resistance are very well made and I'm enjoying these maps the most.
- The weapons are pretty balanced. The assault rifles are all fun to use, so are the sniper rifles. The shotguns are really bad in this game, that was a big dissapointment for me. Some SMGs like the UMP are still a bit overpowered, but every game has it lacks.
- Graphics are same as MW2, but in COD its all about the gameplay.
I'm giving this game a 8/10. Every game has it lacks, so does MW3, but I am truly enjoying this game and I think I will be playing this for a long time.

Mw3 Is not the best but is definitively better than black ops

with a few tweeks i think mw3 would be a really good game!, lag comp sucks as well as the spawn system is too agressive and hurts players. get rid of the akimbo machine pistols. after that the gameplay is fun. the point streaks are a good addition!. for the most part i like the game alot!

Akimbo machine pistoles do not need removing, just lower the damage on the mps when Akimbo is equipped.
