The best way I found to improve my sniping was to focus on hard scoping first then progresson to drag scoping before starting a private match with a bud and just focus on quick scoping till you get it. Also as previously stated up your sensitivity and switch your controller to tactical.

I have done this with the AS50-ACOG scope, helps me with aiming performance. I might start using a pistol on the smaller maps at first just to understand what Im working with. Thanks for the tips.

Hey, here's a great way to improve your COD skills, most of you probably already do this but i thought I'd share this anyways
Use Unconventional and Hard to use weapons
Try:
Playing with pistols only - Improves situational awareness, trigger finger, aiming and movements
High recoil weapons - Improves aiming and recoil control
Semi - Automatic weapons - Improves aiming and trigger finger
Sniping - Improves situational awareness ad movements

Once you get good at them, u'll be surprised at how much your gameplay have improved as well as earning respect from fellow gamers instead of using try-hard or cheap weapons. Dont get dishearted when you get killed time after time by some guy with a SMG w Rapid fire, use it as motivation and soon enough you'll be able to outgun them and rub it all over their faces :P

Thanks for the tips!!

Reminds me of batting practice with those little wiffle golf balls and skinny baseball bats. It makes sense though. I already have good aim ;)

I also always throw stalker on, since if you get a specialist bonus it'll throw you off if you don't already have it on. It also helps hand-eye coordination since you move way faster than normal.

I would have to say, playing on a low sensativity would be best.. cause accuracy plays a HUGE role in your skill.

i find that the best way to get better is to play alot! The old addage is "practice makes perfect". But a few good tips are , walk more than run- it takes you a split sec longer to get your gun up when runnin- especially around corners never run around corners.. Try to stay out of open spaces- if there are 3 or 4 directions potential enemies can come from then you cant watch them all, try to keep a wall behind as much as possible.. reload only when you know you have sec alone and reload as often as you safely can.. Always use stalker pro- the delay detection by motion sensored explosives will save your life more times than you can count-and whatever your favorite setup is use one create a class slot to make an exact copy of your favorite setup but with blindeye, that way you can use scavenger or sleight of hand until the copter comes out then when you die you can swap to one with blind eye. I have only been playing online fps's for a couple monthes but i can win in hc free-for -all and place in the top 3 on core playlist regularly. And if i say so myself for only having been playing online for such little time i would ssay thats pretty good. I am still improving my game. i hope this helps someone, i am open to any suggestions anyone wlse has also.
