i think camping can be more or less frustrating depending on the game mode. In TD no1 should be running around blindly because for every death you incur it has a negative impact on your team.

The thing im getting annoyed about is campers in Kill Confirmed. The point is to collect the tags from fallen enemies or allies and you get points for doing so. However any people see this game mode as a way of getting their k/d ratio up by sitting around waiting for people to collect them.

FYI NOOBS k/d does not bloody matter!!!! yeh sure it is nice to have a good k/d ratio mine is 1.58 but when your playing certain game modes the objective is more important than the individual.

Thats why games like BF3, Mag and SOCOM have a longer life to them because you can play in teams to conquer an objective. In cod it is an all out blitz among individual players.

This is not to say that i dislike the game, i love it.

if y'all don't like playing against people that use skill and tactics, and don't run around the middle of the map like a noob just spraying and praying, then go to halo. They have bright shiny suits that make camping hard, they even have shields! oh the glory! you can spray and pray to your heart's content with all you other scrubs out there

haha I wouldn't doubt it, the cod games cater to people with short attention spans who can't handle a chess match type game, or true clan wars. Its all about rushing out to get a kill, respawn, and do it again.

OK I get that people who sit in corners THE WHOLE game to obiviously to level up their big/little/cousins accounts suck big time ... as your a person down on your team.. damn a game I played the other day had two same account .. :/

I think there needs to be another term ... squatters ... those are the people who make NO kills who sit in a corner at the spawn doing nothing... it might get them levels eventually BUT their guns will be completely unleveled crap

I will say that I do tend to camp a bit .. especially in domination .. where my team isnt spawning ... you do get points for defending the flag as long as your up close to it ...
and with assassin people tend to ignore you... is that my fault??

Very well said! I couldn't have said it better myself! I'm a tactical player and I don't run and gun all the time (that is definitely for noobs!) and I don't camp either. I play knowing my surroundings and using available resources (sound, radar, map). I am also smart enough to get behind an object (ie a blown up car, box, etc.) while going head to head with an enemy. It's more annoying to listen to stupid players complain about camping camping camping (and yes I do mute them after a while). I also take a look at the theater to see how the other player played and most of the time, it's noobs complaining about camping! In truth most these noobs just get owned by a better player. Sick of camping? Good players are sick of whining noobs! Grow a pair and start being more mindful about flushing campers out! I don't complain about campers, it's part of the game, I don't like players who b***h about problems that are easily solved with any of the above mentioned tactics. Good post for sure!

Most camping is fine like in dom AS LONG AS IT IS. TO DEFEND THE FLAGS!! Or tdm of coarse sitting in a corner just makes you an idiot and sitting watching a tag at kill confirmed means your just so bad that you can't play tdm like you want because you don't have an advantage on anyone so you go in a lobby where people are trying to play a game and have fun. So you sit killing people getting your 2 ratio and think your some player when really your just doing what anyone could do its just that most people aren't sad enough to do it.
