jumping from one elevator to the next?

My husband is playing at the moment, as Price, on the mission to kill Makarov. He is in one elevator, where you hear "This wont hold much longer. Jump!" And no matter what he does, or tries, he falls to his death.... How on earth do you jump to the other elevator? We are playing on the Wii Console. Thank you!

Just run forward whilst jumping?

Hopefully you figured it out by now. I found your question while looking for the same answer. on Wii press 1 then go to options and then button layout. it should show you which motion and button will cause him to jump. using the zapper it was twist left and press c.
