Best sniper rifle ? Best sniper rifle to use ?

I am looking to upgrade my sniping skills, so anyone got any ideas what sniper rifle to use ? At the moment I am using a AS50. I also see a lot of people using L118A what's the difference ? I know that the L118A is bolt action but does it really make that much difference. Cheers

Use MSR if you can, slightly faster pull back time then L118A
L118A just feels nicer to use personally

The AS50, RSASS and Dragunov are the better sniper rifles. Don't choke yourself with bolt actions, you will do badly a lot more.

No you wont actually, and btw Dragunov sucks in core
Because you gotta wait a bit before you can shoot again with bolt action rifles, it will make you more accurate

If the sniper rifle cannot get 1 shot kills than it is not worth using. Just use the MK-14, I never lose a shoot out against the RSASS or Drugunov.

Bolt action is where it's at. Makes you more accurate in the long run and one shot=one kill is way better than being able to spam sniper shots.

Play what you're good with. I play pretty competitively and use the scar, and it's frowned upon because there is the type-95 and the ACR. I say I like the handling of the scar though, and I do well. I will say, though, that the bolt actions have more mobility. So.. you don't feel like a 50 pound bag of sag moving around the map. Downside, well... its bolt action, so you can't consistently fire, but the bolt reloads pretty damn quick :P
