To show that the "bad" weapons aren't so bad.
I play for abit and then just yell for myself; "ON A ROLL! ON A ROLL!" and go spreeing abit.
Though it usually ends with me dying most of the time, haha.

I always rush, trying to outflank the other team. I tend to use a P90 (I am not sure of the name of the gun, but it is an SMG). I often end up with someone elses weapon, and if it is a snippy rifle I just roam around the outskirts of the map picking off enemies camping.

Run n' gun but playing defensive is not an issues as long as its not camping aka crouch walking alot and using silencers.

Rush, Camp, or kinda in between?
I'm a rusher but seriously MW3 is the most f***ing frusterating Call of Duty game to date. So MW3 got me camping most of the time so I gave my self a goal and a name to my gameplay style. M. O. A. B.

I guess some would consider what I do as "in-between", but I call it "creeping".
Rushing or run-n-gunning tends to be aggressive across the map tactics, whereas the "creeping" I do, is short-term camping with spurts of running ONLY to the middle of the map or to strategic locations near our team's side of the map.
I adopted this "creeping" strategy because of the frustrating Black Ops and MW3 maps where there are no good true camping locations.
ALL good camp sites are open on too many sides to really hold them down. I believe the developers of COD are caving-in to the run-n-gun whiners who complain about "campers" (which is really just a valid battle strategy - i.e., hold the high ground).
I know it's a game and some just want to run around and kill people - but it's a war game and in war you don't just go running out in the middle of the flying bullets.
Wish the developers and players would realize that some people enjoy playing these games like a real battle scenario - where we HAVE to use strategies to hold ground or take a position.
You got Core and Hard Core - it's kind of obvious that due to the physics of each mode that Core is where the run-n-gunners should play and Hard Core is better suited for more strategic play.
But, then how often do COD players do the reasonable thing when they could just complain and criticize instead??? lol

I'm definitely an inbetweener, I like to play more aggressive and go in for kills more often. But sometimes some teams play so well together that it will create me to camp more often and just play more safe and cautious.
